                        A bit of history.

40 years and more ago  we were asked by Chester Knobbs, Ian, Reg Guppy  and others, to make balls for ‘Racketball’,a NEW UK version of  American ‘Racquetball’, because balls that were available, varied  considerably.

There were no standards and there was continuing ‘debate’ as to what was required.

We resisted until   Dunlop who sold a blue ball, moved all ball production to the far east and  asked us to make their  ball, whilst they organised supply in the Phillipines.

The  Squash  Rackets Association  had  been   given ‘Racketball’  by  Ian Wright, who earlier had asked us to develop a slower ball,in black, besides the blue ball  we made for Dunlop. At that point we decided to sell  Racketball balls under  the  PRICE  brand,

At the same time  slowing down the  blue ball  for the PRICE VERSION because Ian and other players  asked. Other balls on the market were too lively. Both balls adopted as  ‘Official’ Balls.

They later asked for the development of an intermediate ball between the blue and black ball and which is now a tournament ball. The original  black ball still being used by some best players.

To distinguish the two black balls we named them  ‘Price single dot’ and  the ‘Price double dot’.

Development  continued for the Association  and  we now produce a WHITE
